New Windsor Garden Office Update
First glimpse of a new garden office - This time it's personal!
Over the years we’ve prepared hundreds of
Planning Applications and Permitted Development Applications
for clients across the UK. As you would expect, it's relatively bread and butter to us (as it should be) but it's certainly helpful to be conscious of all the stresses and emotions our clients go through when we’re working with them. Well, we recently got exactly that level of insight as we submitted an application for the boss here at Artichoke! Yes, practicing what he preaches, our MD Chris Dale has signed off on a new development at his home. With a family who are fast growing up and who’s teenage kids now want more space to hang out with their mates – this requires more space to put the drum kit to jam along with the band – and more space to put his training equipment so that he’s ready for his next epic bike ride. Equally, we have to factor in Mrs Dale (the actual boss!) who needs somewhere to enjoy a G&T with her friends. See what you think:

The slab went down before Christmas and the SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) were delivered from Poland in January, it has all been assembled, the roof is on, electric first fix is in, now waiting for the sleek black aluminium doors & windows before finishing off inside!
It is of course possible to buy these buildings off the shelf, but if you want something completely bespoke, with your selection of materials, refined architectural detailing and perfectly tailored in every way to your needs, you might want to get Artichoke to do it for you (contact us).
Something of this size (which is 51m2) will also need planning justification and building regulations approval. Thankfully as already stated, this is relatively straight forward for our experienced team and we'd be happy to discuss any plans of this nature with you.
If you need a little (or a lot of) extra space and would like to see if you could build something like this in your garden and we’ll be happy to see how we might be able to help.
